The Washington State Department of Corrections has an exciting and dynamic opportunity for an analytical and customer centric IT professional! We are looking to fill a IT Business Analyst Senior Specialist role that will be tasked with independently analyzing and documenting user business requirements in support of agency and inter-agency large-scale, mission-critical IT projects, and enterprise applications which impact direct delivery of services.
As an IT Business Analyst Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for independent critical thinking, analysis, and translation of business needs to technology requirements for key enterprise applications throughout DOC. The candidate of choice must be able accurately identify, assess, and translate business requirements and cross-walk business needs into technology defined requirements.
This position will support the statewide One Washington program, working with other agency and legislative stakeholders. The work will involve many DOC applications that will integrate with Workday, the new OneWA enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution.
