SafeGuard Services (SGS), a subsidiary of Peraton, performs data analysis, investigation, and medical review to detect, prevent, deter, reduce, and make referrals to recover fraud, waste, and abuse. We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst.
What You’ll do:
The position requires the individual to conduct research on internal case workload data and other sources of information; to create and revise reports that are responsive to customer requirements and ad hoc requests for information. The position is also responsible for supporting management by providing information, insight and recommendations for operational and systems changes needed to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of operations. The position is also needed to support contract teams and provide outreach and training as directed by management.

- Ability to present issues of concern, and citing regulatory violations to support findings
- Ability to communicate effectively, internally and externally
- Ability to prioritize work to effectively adhere to strict timeliness requirements.
- Ability to handle confidential material.
- Ability to conduct self-directed research to uncover problems in workload reporting, data input, information input or operational efficiencies.
- Ability to attend meetings, training and conferences, overnight travel required in some instances.
- Ability to support other in-office teams, as location permits.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team to deliver high-quality work.
