Position Overview:
The Junior Financial Analyst assists in the analysis of assigned branches and satellite offices to provide valuable insights to corporate management. This position is heavily involved in the maintenance, management, and development of Workday, the company’s accounting management system. This position also partners with branch reporting personnel to identify volatility in performance while analyzing key drivers and leveraging data to extract key insights.
Job Responsibilities:
Learn and understand the CrossCountry Mortgage business model to provide recommendations and insights after data compilation.
Provide Workday administrative support and backup to the Controller and Financial Planning & Analysis team members currently handling certain duties; build out the system, build new reports, and assist with automation projects as identified.
Visually display and summarize discoveries from data analysis in a high-level, clear and concise format/presentation.
Collaborate with Accounting and Branch Reporting personnel to investigate and understand profit and loss statement irregularities.
Enhance current and introduce new reporting and analytics aimed at providing visibility to branches through business intelligence and various metrics.
Analyze data, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations aimed at introducing business and/or financial efficiencies; work with large data sets from disparate systems and use advanced Excel functions where necessary.
Perform ad-hoc reporting, data compilation, and analysis as needed.
