What will you do?
Analyze and report on key performance indicators as required to assess business health
Prepare periodic (weekly, monthly, or quarterly) internal supplemental reports for the purpose of management decision making
Prepare supplementary reports to ensure financial statements are accurate and reliable
Research, analyze and prepare accounting transactions as needed, e.g. journal entries
Participate in various month-end activities, including the preparation of journal entries and the investigation of any issues identified
Analyze financial reporting information for internal stakeholders
Complete variance analysis of actuals vs budgets and reforecasts on a monthly basis
Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations as assigned
Evaluate reserve balances, both required and actual, and make recommendations to management
Assist with the preparation of quarterly financial statements (including cash flow)
Assist with audit testing procedures for both internal and external audits
Assist in the preparation of year-end audited financial statements including note disclosures as assigned
Perform periodic audits for clients or other stakeholders as required. Evaluate the results and communicate with appropriate personnel
Research policies to evaluate transactions for financial reporting purposes in accordance with ASPE
Ongoing evaluation of task areas to identify areas for improvements, increased efficiency and risk mitigation
