Job Summary:
Join Cat Digital in this new and exciting Data Architect role in shaping the data architecture, strategy and standards enabling Caterpillar’s next generation Dealer ERP solution (Cat Converge)! You will work closely with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate business outcomes into scalable, cloud-native data solutions that accelerate time-to-value and enable a seamless Cat Digital experience.
What You Will Do:
Establish Data architecture principles and strategy for Dealer ERP related ecosystem including data migrations, integrations and related goals
Develop detailed data architecture deliverables to solve business problems.
Design data solutions which include system-to-system data flows, conceptual data models, and logical data models.
Lead the evaluation and deployment of new solutions to add or enhance existing data product capabilities.
Participate in addressing business requirements for applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver digital and data solutions that meet business results.
What You Will Have:
Data Architecture: Extensive knowledge of processes, techniques and factors that affect data architecture; ability to design blueprints on how to integrate data resources for business processes and functional support.
Information Management: Extensive knowledge of an organization’s existing and planned Information Architecture and Information Management (IM) methodology; ability to collect and manage information from different sources and distribute this information to enhance
