POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for securing quotes for new and renewal commercial lines property & casualty business by negotiating best terms with various insurance carriers. 

• Markets General Liability, Property, Workers Compensation, Auto, Excess, Management Liability and other lines to various insurance carriers.
• Negotiates most favorable terms with carriers and provides coverage suggestions and solutions to team.
• Meets and builds strong relationship with carriers including meetings in person when possible and virtually.
• Responsible for strong knowledge of our markets, carrier appetites as well as HUB  internal resources.
• Maintains Underwriter contact list and carrier materials source documents for team.
• Carrier online rating system utilization when needed.

Salary: The expected salary range for this position is $68,640.00 to $85,000.00 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, education and licensing certifications, geographic location, approved salary budget as well as the specific position’s business line, complexity, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which includes health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, eligible bonuses and commissions for full-time positions (30 hours or more).

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• At least 5 years related commercial insurance experience
• Must have demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word and PPT
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with a team commitment
• Must hold CA P&C insurance license

Department Marketing

Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Up to 25%

Required Education: High school or equivalent
