A little over 20 years ago it came to our attention that Sundeep, a well-respected and established Indian caterer, was making his own yogurt to use in drinks and sweets. He felt that this was the only way he could get the authentic flavor he needed for his Indian recipes.
Back then, if you visited any grocery store, you would only find American style and brands. Families had two choices: buy the American style or make their own at home. Out of this dilemma Desi Natural Dahi was born.
Our company has grown based on consumer requests. Over the years weβve added Whole Milk and Lower Fat Desi Paneer Cheese and ORGANIC Desi Natural Dahi! Now, we are proud to introduce, refreshingly authentic Desi Natural Lassi and Yogurt Drinks. Our name, Desi Natural Dahi, reflects the fact that our products do not contain any artificial preservatives, and they have THE authentic βDesiβ taste you crave. Consistency, quality, purity, and β above all β taste are the reasons why we are the #1 brand of Indian yogurt in the United States.
We are launching a new phase of growth with the opening of our new manufacturing plant in Winchester, VA that will allow us to bring our great products to an ever larger market as we develop more partnerships.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Market Analysis: Conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and to stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences by data analysis and on-site observations. Work with Marketing Director, Customer Marketing Manager, and VP of Sales on opportunity planning/targets.

Campaign Development: Creating and implementing marketing campaigns, including preparing digital marketing strategies and campaign maps. Developing marketing materials sch as website content, social media posts, blog articles, and email newsletters to support these efforts. Review campaign results to improve outcomes.

Promotional Planning: Developing and executing promotional plans and trade marketing activities to drive product visibility, increase sales, and enhance brand awareness. Must be budget conscious staying with allocated spend.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Tracking sales performance against targets, understanding of IRI, Numerator data, analyzing sales data/POS, and preparing regular reports for management review.

Social Media: Stay up-to-date on what is appearing on Social Media as relates to our target consumer and market. Manage SEO and Google analytics data reporting.

Collaboration: Working closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Sales Finance and Operations to ensure alignment and support for initiatives. Manage customer relationships in marketing programs.

Customer Service & Support: Help with shipping out samples as directed, POS Materials to distributors, and arrange for logistics around events.
Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business

MUST HAVE 1-5 years of experience in a Marketing/Business Analyst role.

Experience data gathering and creating reports using portals, IRI, Numerator or similar tools.
- Entrepreneurial spirit; used to working in a fast paced, limited resource environment with ability to pivot at a momentβs notice
Β· Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

The Pay Range for this role is $67,000 - $75,000. Title and salary will be based on our assessment of skills and experience relevant to our needs for the role.
