Position Purpose
The Vendor Claims / Deals Analyst is responsible for entering, tracking, and ensuring the accuracy of vendor‑funded deals and claims. This role researches and validates billing, resolves discrepancies, and protects division vendor funds by ensuring compliance with company policies and accurate financial reconciliation.
Key Accountabilities Vendor Deals & Claims Processing
- Input all vendor‑funded claims into the appropriate system(s) to accurately capture vendor deals
- Track vendor deal sheets and ensure completeness and accuracy
- Validate billing and funding information to ensure proper reimbursement
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales Managers in assigned departments to ensure accurate and compliant vendor information
- Communicate issues, discrepancies, and funding concerns in a timely manner
- Obtain claim payback authorization from Sales Managers when required
Financial Tracking & Reconciliation
- Track receipt of vendor payments and verify accuracy of off‑invoice funding
- Maintain data integrity by researching and resolving variances with vendors
- Process approved paybacks and adjustments accurately
Issue Resolution & Compliance
- Research disputed claims and funding issues
- Resolve discrepancies while ensuring adherence to company policies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned
Knowledge & Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience as a Department Specialist (Pricer) or Claims Specialist
- Experience working with buying, pricing, and claims systems
- Strong understanding of vendor funding processes
Skills & Competencies
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong commitment to data integrity and system accuracy
- Working knowledge of marketing and merchandising terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience navigating proprietary buying and pricing systems
