We�re looking for a Marketing Data Analyst II to join our growing Web Analytics Team. In this role, you�ll bridge the gap between tactical execution and strategic insight. You�ll support our marketing, web, and product teams by analyzing performance, implementing tracking strategies, and proactively identifying trends that drive decisions.
This is a mid-level position for someone who enjoys translating data into strategy and wants to shape how insights are delivered across the company. You'll report directly to the Director of Analytics and work alongside a junior analyst. Working knowledge of AUTOMOTIVE AGENCY and/or MARKETING AGENCY, highly preferred.
This is a full-time, salaried, remote position. Employee must be located within the Continental U.S., Eastern or Central time zone highly preferred, but all are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Google Analytics and other web analytics tools
- Build and iterate dashboards to help stakeholders monitor KPIs
- Analyze user behavior and marketing channel performance to generate actionable insights
- Assist in troubleshooting tracking and data collection issues
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and deep dives to support product and marketing decisions
- Lead A/B test planning, execution, and post-test analysis
- Monitor performance metrics and set up alerts for key anomalies
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand goals and translate them into measurement plans
- Mentor junior analysts on tools, best practices, and analytical approaches
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business or related field, required
- 3+ years of experience in web, marketing, or product analytics, required
- Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI, required
- Working knowledge of AUTOMOTIVE AGENCY and/or MARKETING AGENCY, highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager or other tag management systems, required
- Working knowledge of SQL and strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets, required
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Google Optimize, Optimizely), highly preferred
- Comfortable with troubleshooting tracking issues, debugging, and QA
- Strong communication skills - you can share findings clearly with technical and non-technical audiences
