Job purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Master Data Specialist. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of master data across multiple business channels and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth operations, handle change requests, and ensure that company data is current and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of Master Data: Ensure that master data is accurate, complete, and in compliance with global data protocols.
  • Master Data Management: Oversee and manage master data for various categories such as customer, packaging/Bill of Materials (BOMs), part numbers, country of origin, and other critical business data.
  • Change Request Management: Manage Change Requests (CRs) through internal systems, ensuring proper tracking and timely resolution. Lead bi-weekly team meetings to monitor progress and keep projects on track.
  • Support new number launches: Act as a point of contact for all business channels for launching new numbers, ensuring product and material data is correctly captured and managed.
  • Lifecycle Management of Parts: Oversee the entire lifecycle of parts, from part number creation, release in SAP, to eventual obsolescence. Ensure proper data flow through each stage.
  • UPC Management: Act as the UPC gatekeeper by managing UPC data and pulling new batches as needed.
  • ISO Documentation Maintenance: Maintain ISO documentation and ensure that documentation remains up-to-date and compliant.
  • Material BOMs in SAP: Ensure that material Bill of Materials (BOMs) are accurately maintained within SAP.
  • Packaging Management: Create packaging specifications in internal database and manage packaging data in the system.
  • Customer Data Management: Responsible for managing Customer Material Information Records, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or related field
  • 3+ Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems
  • Strong understanding of data governance
  • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management processes
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Project)
