JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Oversees the siteβs operating and maintenance (O&M) budget, financial controls and processes in accordance with Holtecβs policies and procedures.Β Serves as an integral member of the Finance department and the O&M leadership team providing financial guidance, analysis and reporting necessary to assist in achieving the siteβs budget targets.Β
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide expert financial advice and information to support timely decision making regarding the stationβs operating & maintenance (O&M) spending plan.
Monitor and analyze financial results, proactively identify risks and opportunities that may impact profitability, and clearly communicate performance to drive accountability.
Ensure all financial activity at the site contains accurate information and is executed timely by monitoring, maintaining and completing key financial functions.
Collaborate with leadership to develop O&M budgets to align with the stationβs operational requirements and companyβs objectives.
Work cross-functionally and develop strong relationships with colleagues in the field to gather information vital to successful completion of deliverables.
Employ strong financial modeling and analytical skills to manipulate datasets to support ad hoc analysis and reporting.
Β MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum education required of the position Bachelor's Degree - Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience. Desired: MBA.
Minimum experience required of the position: 2-4 years of business experience in accounting, finance, project development or related fields.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:
Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to work with minimal supervision or within a team environment.
Ability to analyze problems and create solutions.
Ability to understand and solve complex financial transactions.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple time sensitive projects effectively.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Significant knowledge of financial theory and valuation.
