About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized Pharmacy Data Specialist to join our growing team in Austin, Texas.
In this role, you’ll review prescription and patient information received through multiple channels, confirm key order information is complete, perform benefits analysis, and accurately enter information into our pharmacy systems. You’ll also help manage the flow of incoming documentation, identifying materials that fall outside of the prescription intake process and routing them to the appropriate team.
As an important part of our patient care operations, you’ll work closely with pharmacists and Patient Care Coordinators to keep orders moving efficiently and ensure the information our teams rely on is accurate, complete, and appropriately documented.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Austin headquarters, reporting directly to the Data Manager. The position works Monday through Friday and requires flexibility to work rotational shifts from 8 am to 4:30 pm and 10:30 am to 7 pm CT, with participation in a Saturday rotation from 8 am to 2 pm, as needed.
What You’ll Do:
Review and process incoming prescriptions and order information received by fax, email, and other approved channels.
Accurately and efficiently enter patient, prescription, medication, dosage, supply, and other required order information into pharmacy systems.
Review prescription information for completeness and identify missing, inconsistent, or unclear information requiring additional review by the appropriate team member.
