The Power BI Data Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role leverages Power BI and other analytics tools to integrate, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources, ensuring accurate and meaningful business insights. The Business Intelligence Analyst partners closely with internal stakeholders to validate data integrity, identify trends and opportunities, develop forecasts, and deliver actionable recommendations to leadership. This position also plays a key role in monitoring data quality, troubleshooting reporting issues, and implementing scalable analytics solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Integrate and transform data from multiple sources.
• Partner with internal teams to validate/test data to ensure accurate reporting.
• Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop forecasts and projections based on historical and current data.
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations to leadership in a clear and concise manner.
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot reporting issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and implement new analytics solutions.
The estimated salary for this position ranges from $74,000 to $104,000 yearly. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. Education:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
Required Skills:
• 3–5 years experience developing dashboards and reports in Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Strong experience with data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience reporting to executive leadership.
