Position Summary
The Principal Sales Operations Analyst provides advanced analytical systems, and process support to the global sales organization to improve forecast accuracy, operational efficiency, and revenue outcomes. This role independently owns complex initiatives across the order‑to‑revenue lifecycle, serves as a subject‑matter expert in sales operations processes and tools, and partners cross‑functionally to deliver executive‑ready insights that support informed decision‑making.
The Principal Analyst operates with limited supervision, manages competing priorities across multiple stakeholders, and provides guidance to other members of the team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations & Process Ownership
- Own and support end‑to‑end equipment slotting process and Sales input to the SIOP process.
- Lead the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of sales operations processes, controls, and performance metrics
- Identify process gaps, data issues, and operational risks; recommend and implement scalable solutions
Analytics, Reporting, and Insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analyses that provide actionable insights into sales performance and operational health
- Deliver executive‑ready reporting to Sales Leadership to support forecast reviews, revenue governance, and strategic planning
- Translate complex data sets into clear, concise insights for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Systems & Tools
- Serve as a power user and subject‑matter expert for sales operations tools and systems, including ERP and business intelligence platforms
- Partner with IT and business applications teams to define requirements, test enhancements, and resolve system or data issues
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems supporting the quote‑to‑cash process
