The Product Data Specialist will help drive Product Information Management (PIM) for the enterprise to support the overall company vision and digital transformation. This position will help the business organize, improve, and leverage product content to make it easy for customers to research, compare and purchase products online. This PIM expert will understand the needs of various global stakeholders, including internal systems and employees, B2B distributors, external software integrations, and end customers. Armed with this understanding, the Product Data Specialist will effectively prioritize their work to drive product information creation, improvement, and syndication for maximum customer benefit.

Key Responsibilities
- Administration.ย Be the internal administrator and subject matter expert for our Product Information Management systemย
- Product data creation. Work across product management, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure consistent, accurate setup of product names, descriptions, translations, attributes, drawings, images, and critical search componentsย
- Build and govern product information guidelines, data standards and data dictionaries. Monitor, update, and reinforce standards as needed. Empower business users to create compelling content and keep up with changing channel requirements by enabling easy attribute creation
- Connect PIM, ERP, and Ecommerce systems to ensure effective management of product assets
- Monitor product completeness and accuracy for the business. Establish data standards and rules for data cleansing. Provide product data governance reportingย
- Coordinate product cleanup by monitoring technical and product support material and develop a process to update as needed. Proactively recommend enrichment improvements.ย
- Own the product data request process. Receive new requests and prioritize based on level of effort and business value. Look for ways to improve efficiency.ย
- Establish efficient data syndication and vendor onboarding processes. Identify opportunities to automate processes to alleviate repetitive tasks. Implement data-driven tools as needed.ย
- Design training materials on product master data governance philosophies, best practices, and use of Product Information Management

Requirements
- 2+ yearsโ experience in a Product Information Management
- Associateโs degree in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or related field
- Advanced understanding of data cleansing, governance, taxonomy, and syndication of an extensive, complex product data library
- Has a successful track record of driving toward critical milestones while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently and in close collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver on technical projects successfully.
