What You Will Be Doing:
- Collaborate with informatics professionals and subject matter experts to improve how infectious disease data are captured, managed, and shared, while helping design efficient, automated processes that strengthen data quality, accuracy, and usability.
- Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights by developing visualizations, reports, presentations, and written summaries that support public health decision-making.
- Develop flexible tools, templates, and workflows that can be rapidly adapted to meet emerging data needs during outbreaks and other public health responses.
- Partner with colleagues across states, jurisdictions, and organizations to enhance the relevance, reach, and impact of infectious disease data.
- Advance data integration and interoperability efforts to support more sophisticated analyses, including work involving linked datasets and co-infections, to generate meaningful public health insights.
