Role
As the Research & Data Specialist, you will oversee the maintenance and management of data across internal and external platforms to support our business development and marketing goals. This role is essential to helping Greenprint maintain robust data systems, synthesize market insights and enhance client relationships by organizing and optimizing our client and project information.
Client & Market Insights
Conduct ongoing industry research to identify trends, competitive insights and market opportunities, delivering actionable intelligence to guide marketing and business development strategies.
Maintain a detailed target client list, including desired client profiles and comprehensive information on current relationships, quality indicators, client preferences, competitor insights and engagement history.
Review public agency buying plans, attend vendor sessions and document procurement processes in target markets, keeping the team informed on upcoming opportunities and client procurement behavior.
Pipeline & CRM Management
Maintain and optimize client data in Deltek Vantagepoint CRM, ensuring accurate tracking of relationships, touchpoints and engagement history to inform strategic relationship management.
Oversee pipeline management and reporting in Deltek, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with ongoing business development goals.
Conduct compliance reviews and QA/QC for RFPs, coordinating with the marketing team and pursuit leads to ensure submissions meet response requirements and Greenprintβs quality standards.
Procurement Tracking & Data Organization
Manage vendor registrations and RFP portals, ensuring profiles are current to streamline access to relevant procurement opportunities.
Track procurement opportunities in Deltek GovWin, implementing best-practice search parameters, frequent updates and regular alignment with Greenprintβs geographic and service areas.
Review industry and market analyses through Deltek GovWin and other sources, connecting insights with strategic business development priorities.
Organize and tag business development collateral in our intranet Synthesis (such as past RFPs, RFIs and interview materials) to facilitate easy access and relevance to new proposals.
Reporting, Visualization & Impact Analysis
Develop and manage dashboards and data visualizations to communicate business development metrics, client touchpoints and CRM-related data, ensuring strategic insights are easily accessible to the team.
Coordinate impact tracking and reporting across systems to monitor and communicate Greenprintβs reach and effectiveness.

Desired Experience and Characteristics
At least 5 years relevant experience
Demonstrated experience in data management, research and reporting, ideally in a business development or marketing context.
Skilled in translating sales and marketing objectives into actionable data strategy and operational improvements.
Proficient with CRM systems, especially Deltek Vantagepoint.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple data streams and synthesize information to guide strategy.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines and work effectively both independently and in a team.

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary for this position will be based on qualifications and years of professional experience and ranges from $80,000β$95,000. In addition to base salary, all Greenprint staff participate in our annual discretionary profit sharing program.
