Serco is seeking a dynamic and experienced candidate to serve as a Data Analyst supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Industrial Operations Directorate (SEA 04). In this role, you will support the execution of organizational objectives by performing critical administrative, analytical, and operational tasks. This hybrid position will be located in Washington, DC - Washington Navy Yard.
This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain your active Secret level clearance.

In this role, you will:
- Manipulate data to fix or remove incorrect, corrupt, incorrectly formatted, duplicate, or incomplete data within a dataset.
- Gather and analyze technical information from various sources and create EXCEL/ SQL queries to retrieve specific information and parameters from database(s).
- Apply data mining techniques to large data sets to identify patterns, relationships and behaviors.
- Analyze, interpret and draw conclusions from data, and identify problems, solutions and opportunities using the analysis.
- Create and deliver graphical representations to best display information and convey concepts, to include but not limited to compelling interactive briefings, reports, and dashboards via Microsoft Teams (Flank Speed) or a NNPI approved, compatible platform.
- Interpret and analyze data, behaviors and processes, trends and situations and recommended solutions. Understands and articulates root causes.
- Ensures analytics are usable, actionable, and valuable for today and predictive of the future.
- Define Key Performance Indices (KPIs) and metrics for measuring success. Tracks metrics to target vs goal, tying back derived data insights to big picture strategy.
- Assists with drafting reports of findings along with related documentation for higher level review.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
