We are seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Business Analyst to support our client, the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Research and Development (R&D) management function, to accomplish its mission by providing program planning and analysis support. In this position, ideal candidates with 8+ years of professional experience in program management and/or financial/budget analysis will be interfacing with the FAA’s R&D program offices and supporting key initiatives including the Aviation R&D Strategy, the Research, Engineering, and Development Advisory Committee (REDAC), and other programs. This position also interfaces and coordinates with the FAA Program Office and other stakeholders in program management, information technology, and communication and outreach. While this is a full-time, in-office position in New Jersey, there is flexibility to work from home. We encourage candidates with previous FAA experience to apply.Β 

Specific responsibilities include:Β 
  • Assist in the facilitation of stakeholder groups, e.g. the Research, Engineering and Development Advisory Committee (REDAC), while also collecting data to determine research project alignment. Conduct data entry of industry Findings and Recommendations and the Agency’s Response into the Data Management Application. Prepare materials for industry principals.Β 
  • Schedule and attend meetings with Principals to create, track and address status of the Division and R&D Strategy maps, documenting Objective, Initiative, Activity and action task items and risks.Β 
  • Develop a wide range of products for external and internal stakeholders encompassing a variety of audiences, including FAA executives and researchers, Congress, Government Oversight bodies, FAA workforce, the aviation community, and the public.Β 
  • Create and develop Program Office PMR briefings, status reports, project schedules, basic flow charts, and other general administrative documentation using MS Office applications to include MS Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Excel.Β 
Required Qualifications:Β 
  • US Work authorization.Β 
  • Four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.Β 
  • Bachelor’s degree plus eight (8) relevant years.Β 
  • Demonstrated depth of knowledge and experience within one or more of these areas: program management, business analysis, communications, and/or scheduling.Β Β 
  • Strong written and oral communications including presentation skills.Β 
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with other teams (e.g. the R&D Annual Review, a companion document to the NARP) and juggle concurrent deliverables/priorities.Β 
  • Previous FAA experience is a big plus.Β
