I. Job Summary
Acts as a liaison between the Technology and the business on request for new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Conducts advanced level business process analysis, needs assessments preliminary cost/benefit analysis, project scoping, and requirements elicitation and documentation to align Technology solutions with business initiatives. Provides leadership and mentoring to junior analysts.
II. Duties and Responsibilities

- Leads the requirements gathering and analysis for large, complex projects. Acts as the liaison between business users and IT developers during the project lifecycle.
- Contributes advanced knowledge in formulating systems scope and objectives relative to the organization's business plan and business architecture.
- Documents requirements and manages communication with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood and documented.
- Coordinates with users and facilitates working sessions to determine and document business and user requirements, process flow definitions, and functional specifications.
- Responsible for document repositories, maintenance and updates of project documentation library. Oversees and ensures the quality of the requirements documentation and deliverables.
- Coordinates with QE to formulate test plans and with the project team to gain business user acceptance.
- Reviews progress and evaluates results for accuracy and efficiency.
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
May coach and mentor less-experienced analysts and act as team leader on systems projects.

A. Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).
