The Senior Business Analyst is a key member of STORE Capital’s Data Analytics and Business Intelligence team, responsible for leveraging data, systems, and process optimization to enhance decision-making and drive performance across the organization. This role plays a critical part in translating data into actionable insights while also leading efforts to improve and optimize core business systems—particularly CRM platforms and related workflows that support Acquisitions, Credit Underwriting, Portfolio Management, and Recoveries.
This position partners closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, drive system enhancements, and deliver scalable analytics and reporting solutions. The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that CRM and data systems are effectively aligned to support growth, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall customer and employee experience.
What Will Make You Successful (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4–7 years of experience in business analytics, systems analysis, CRM optimization, or a related role
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data sourcing, validation, analysis, and modeling/scoring
- Experience working with and optimizing CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and related business systems
- Proficiency in SQL and/or Excel; experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and/or programming languages (Python, R) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Experience working with large datasets and supporting business decision-making processes
- Experience in commercial real estate, credit analysis, or financial services is a plus
- Strong intellectual curiosity with a focus on improving systems, processes, and business outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with data sourcing, lead generation, or sales operations
