The Senior Business Analyst (SBA) supports Enterprise Delivery by shaping work before and during delivery. This role translates business needs into clear requirements, supports discovery, improves scope clarity, and ensures initiatives are sufficiently understood before they move into planning and execution.
The Senior Business Analyst is critical to improving intake quality, reducing ambiguity, supporting discovery readiness, and ensuring delivery teams are not starting work with unclear scope, weak requirements, unresolved decisions, or incomplete stakeholder alignment.
What You'll Be Doing
Discovery and Initiative Shaping
- Support early discovery and shaping of enterprise initiatives before formal project initiation.
- Work with sponsors, portfolio owners, product owners, technology teams, architecture, security, finance, operations, and delivery teams to clarify business needs.
- Define problem statements, outcomes, scope boundaries, assumptions, constraints, risks, dependencies, and decision points.
- Support readiness for discovery by ensuring scope, objectives, stakeholders, requirements, and delivery considerations are sufficiently understood.
