B2B Systems Transformation’s mission is to make life easier for of Customers and for our team. We build and enhance the SaaS platforms that support our value chains and customer journeys - from Leads to Opportunities, from Contracts to Orders, from Fulfillment to Billing, all the way to Day 2 support – and that are used every day by thousands of TELUS team members nationally, across multiple functions.


 


Our team includes a passionate group of strategists, business consultants, capability owners, project managers, business analysts and change management experts. We work closely with partners across the organization, such as product managers, sales and back office teams on the business side and solution architects, scrum masters and software developers on the technology side.


 


What you’ll do:


 



  • We are looking for a dynamic Senior Business Analyst to join our B2B Systems Transformation – Program Management Office (PMO) to enable next generation value chain systems in new and transformative ways. You will help champion and build positive relationships with our partners to effectively prioritize and execute business initiatives, while working with stakeholders to define opportunities that optimize our processes and deliver favorable customer experiences

  • You will also evaluate information captured from various sources, reconcile conflicts of information, break down high-level information into details, and clarify details for the team to understand how to define an efficient solution for TELUS customers. In addition, you will support the delivery team by facilitating the team’s delivery process, helping to balance work in progress limits and deliver business outcomes

  • Participating in early scope development and management; working with capability owners and business partners to identify user stories, clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria

  • Leveraging your understanding of the business to lead the L3 workflow documentation efforts and signoff, and coordinate L4 workflow discussions; provide guidance to QA team on test scenarios

  • Creating the Process Management log and facilitating discussions plan and closing off issues leading to execution and signoff of Operational team user and training documentation with business/change leaders

  • Assist in the creation of Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements

  • Establish the foundation for storing information associated with process mining data models


 


 


Qualifications

  • Ability to clearly explain rationales for decision-making; ability to maintain as much transparency when deciding and have a clear approach to solving problems

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Systems knowledge

    • Odyssey (SalesForce.com) a benefit

    • Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile (SAFe), Project Development Lifecycle, DevOps

    • Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Power BI



  • Marketing and Operations

    • Strong knowledge of operational applications, business products, and services

    • Ability to ensure that business impacts are accurately captured and agreed upon by operations within TBS

    • Planning and readiness for service offer including: includes requirements definition, risk assessment/mitigation, stakeholder update presentations, user interfaces/processes, documentation, testing, communication on basic and/or individual components of projects, post launch stability, and ongoing evolution/transformation



  • Operational Efficiency and Excellence

    • Processes and/or operational business readiness

    • Drive new business implementation and execution, lead process improvement initiatives, reduce unnecessary customer contacts, and enable agents to increase productivity and quality of customer interactions



  • Familiarity with Sales to Cash and Day 2 Support workflow development experience

  • English both verbal and written is required for these opportunities


 


Great-to-haves:


 



  • University degree and/or equivalent combination of experience and education

  • Business Analysis certification/courses

    • 5+ years of experience for senior level position

    • 2-5 years of experience for intermediate level position



  • Agile, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma certification. Experience in an Agile environment

  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Kanban, and Scrum

  • Familiarity with Microsoft BI Pro

  • Bilingual (English/French)


 


Compensation:


 



  • Senior Business Analyst

    • Salary Range: $70,000-$104,000

    • Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 12%



  • Business Analyst II

    • Salary Range: $62,000-$94,000

    • Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 10%
