This role requires a strong combination of investment-domain knowledge, business analysis, and hands-on data analysis.The successful candidate will work closely with front-office technologies and investment management stakeholders, analyzing complex data across trading, portfolio management, and accounting-related workflows.The ideal candidate will have experience within asset management, pension funds, or similar financial services environments, with the ability to analyze investment data and communicate findings effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities Partner with investment managers and front-office teams to understand business needs, data requirements, and system workflows. Run SQL queries, perform data validation and reconciliation, and generate actionable insights. Analyze data from front-office investment, trading, and accounting platforms. Use SQL and Python to compare datasets across systems and identify discrepancies. Interpret data from a trading, portfolio management, and investment perspective. Translate technical findings into clear business language for investment managers and senior stakeholders. Support ongoing data initiatives and projects within the Investments Data team. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with front-office requirements. Critical Skills / Must-Haves 6–10+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or investment-data roles. Strong understanding of investment management, including trading workflows, portfolio data, and front-office concepts. Hands-on experience with Aladdin or Bloomberg from a data perspective. Strong SQL skills with experience conducting data investigations and reconciliation. Experience using Python for scripting, analysis, or data comparison. Background in asset management, pension funds, or similar financial institutions. Ability to communicate effectively using investment-management terminology and concepts. Strong ability to bridge business, investment, and technical requirements. Nice-to-Haves CFA Level I–III or equivalent investment-domain credential. Experience working within the broader investment-management ecosystem. Exposure to Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
