About the Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team and become the analytics partner to our Customer Success organization. Your primary mission: ensure that the clients we serve (large employers and health plans) receive best-in-class reporting, from recurring Quarterly Business Reviews to ad hoc analyses that answer the questions they care about most.
You will own the reporting lifecycle end to end. That means building the data models and dashboards in Looker, writing the Python and SQL that power them, and sitting with Customer Success to understand what story the data needs to tell. We are looking for someone who does not wait to be told what to analyze. You see a pattern, dig in, form a hypothesis, and bring insights to the table before anyone asks. A strong sense of business context and the curiosity to understand why numbers move is just as important as the technical skills to query them.
We also expect this person to actively leverage AI tools in their daily analytics work and to identify opportunities where AI can improve our reporting, analysis, and client deliverables. Whether that means using AI-assisted coding to accelerate development, applying LLMs to summarize or interpret data, or proposing entirely new AI-powered analytics capabilities for our clients, we want someone who sees AI as a force multiplier and is eager to push the boundaries of what our data team can deliver.
What you'll do:
Own client-facing analytics: build, maintain, and continuously improve the dashboards and reports used in Quarterly Business Reviews and ad hoc client requests.
Partner closely with the Customer Success team to understand client needs, translate business questions into analytical frameworks, and deliver insights that strengthen client relationships.
Design and build production-quality LookML models, explores, and dashboards in Looker, serving as the team's Looker subject matter expert.
Write complex SQL queries across Redshift, Aurora/MySQL, and Athena to extract, transform, and analyze data at scale.
