Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Finance and Analytics, the Senior Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting decision-making processes at Haventree by leveraging data to provide insights and recommendations. This role involves working closely with cross-functional business teams to analyze data and develop insights, recommendations, and reporting to support business goals. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex insights to various stakeholders.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform critical analysis to support Haventree Bank’s growth initiatives including business development efforts, innovation and new product launch
- Experience in oral and written storytelling to share data driven insights in a clear, succinct manner
- Data analysis and querying large datasets with SQL
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards with Tableau and other tools
- Strong partnering approach with a commitment to meeting business partners' expectations
- Learn new applications and processes quickly with minimal direction
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and operations, data engineering, technology, finance and treasury
Qualifications & Experience:
- Financial Services or Mortgage Industry experience (Preferred)
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in related field (Business, Mathematics, Engineering, etc)
- 3-4+ years of experience in data analytics, information reporting, product strategy, or portfolio analysis
- Experience in advanced SQL, data warehousing, and data visualization tools (such as Tableau)
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Understanding of and experience with Salesforce data models, including standard and custom object
