Day in the life of:
CIRO is the national, self-regulatory organization responsible for oversight of Canadaโs investment dealers, as well as trading activities on debt and equity marketplaces. In this role you will have an opportunity to be part of the CIRO Enforcement team which is responsible for the administration of its Dealer Member Rules and the Universal Market Integrity Rules (UMIR).
Reporting to the Manager of Market Investigations, the Senior Data Analyst, Investigations will play a key role in reviewing Enforcementโs current analytical tools and developing new tools based on existing technologies. This includes developing and implementing quantitative methodologies to enhance the investigational program and better use technologies for visualization and dissemination of information.
