Position Purpose:

A Senior Data Analyst within our Reporting and Analytics team leverages data to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to guide strategic initiatives. Responsible for working both independently and collaboratively with peers to build and maintain reporting dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining data integrity. You will utilize data visualization tools and statistical methods to build and present clear and concise reports/analyses to stakeholders. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI are essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences will be critical to your success. Also ensures that all reporting and analytical responsibilities are completed competently in a timely manner, and continually seeks out opportunities to learn new and hone existing technical skills (e.g. writing SQL/code, statistics, machine learning, etc).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish reporting standards and best practices.
  • Architect and implement a reporting framework.
  • Oversee data mining efforts.
  • Develop programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, UX designers and end-users to determine requirements.
  • Data analysis, development of SQL scripts, stored procedures & triggers, and report generation.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • Position Reports to Sr. Engineer or Sr. Manager


Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years work experience and intermediary understanding or SQL Server, Google BigQuery, or comparable database systems
  • 3+ years work experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, auditing, and/or forecasting
  • Experience building reports/analyses with analytical tools (e.g. Excel, JMP, SAS, Mathematica, SPSS, Tableau, etc.)
  • Prior direct experience in analyzing the relevant subject matter (e.g. Call Centers, Retail Operations, Supply Chain etc.)
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Finance or related quantitative field

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
