Senior Financial Analyst
Location - Quorum Health Corporate Office - Brentwood, TN
General Summary:
This role will provide direct support for the capital function of the company. Responsible for maintaining and supporting our capital requisition system (Oracle EPM & ERP). Position will work directly with the hospitals to help facilitate the creation and approval of Capital requests. This role will be responsible for creating long range capital forecasts for the company and presenting them to Capital Committee. Responsible for assisting the FP&A and accounting team with other reporting & budgeting needs as necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining the Capital Planning system and workflow approval process
- Oversee and manage the continued development of the Company’s Capital Planning and Forecasting tools
- Responsible for supporting the hospitals and operations with submitting and managing capital requisitions
- Provide system-wide financial and capital planning. Includes creating long range capital forecasts and tracking capital spend
- Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis around Capital projects
- Assisting Hospital personnel in capital asset entry and reconciliation to capital spend in Fusion ERP
- Act as a functional resource for the Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets module, supporting day-to-day system usage and issue resolution
- Identify opportunities to improve fixed asset processes, controls, and system utilization
- Support system enhancements, testing (UAT), and implementation of new functionality
- Performs other reporting and budgeting duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Financial literacy, accounting literacy, financial analytics and insights.
- Strong accounting and financial knowledge and experience required
- Healthcare experience highly preferred
- Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookups, etc.)
- Excellent communicator
Work Experience, Education, Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in related field preferred
- 3+ years of healthcare experience highly preferred
- Experience with Oracle EPM/ERP a plus
