S'more about the team We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to Manager, FP&A to join our team in Toronto. In this role, you will be providing the financial basis as well as analysis to management and senior management to make decisions contributing to overall company goals. Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for Be the lead for the full month-end close (MEC) and Budgeting process for Revenue: Act as the primary user of the revenue forecasting model Schedule and lead budget meetings with senior management Communicate with business stakeholders on timeliness of inputs, manage delays and other requests Review accuracy of inputs and work with stakeholders on possible corrective actions Update in financial statements and slide decks and write explaining commentary Prepare and analyze costs in MEC Review deviations over specified threshold by breaking them down into explainable parts, reviewing with accounting if needed Present results to business stakeholders and management during MEC calls Be the financial lead for projects, e.g. buy or lease decisions, new initiatives Manage the process from a financial perspective Review qualitative and quantitative context Prepare submission document with relevant financial metrics and gather qualitative input from stakeholders Collect actionable findings from MEC analysis and incorporate them into the next budget cycle Partner with stakeholders to make continuous improvements to current processes and improve reporting gaps All other duties, as assigned Sound a-peeling?
