The Opportunity:

Sentrex is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to assist in managing our day-to-day internal reporting requirements, prepare budgets/forecasts, business cases, document processes and assist with special projects.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here):

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, presentations with value added commentary.
  • Experience in Budget vs Actual analysis (Workforce, Capex, Revenue, Margin, Opex) with insightful variance explanation.
  • Partnering with business leaders to ensure value added reporting is available to make sound business decisions.
  • Experience creating and following process documents for all FP&A functions.
  • Experience with multiple end to end budget cycles, rolling forecasts and long range planning.
  • Building business cases (Financial models, presentations, recommendations) for pricing, investment and performance analysis.
  • Involvement in special projects including ERP enhancements, planning and reporting tool implementation and customization.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as assigned.
  • Additional duties as determined by your Manager.

What you need to ensure you are set up for success:

  • Accounting degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge Microsoft suite of products, specifically Excel (Advanced formulae, Pivots) and PowerPoint (Charts).
  • Curious with a desire to understand key metrics and drivers.
  • Strong experience with Data analytics, Modeling, Systems and overall technologically inclined.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, problem solve and the ability to be resourceful.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and good customer relations.
  • Committed to meeting deadlines and detail oriented.
  • Able to work independently when required and in a team environment.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Previous experience in Canadian Pharma/Health care setting preferred.
      • Experience with Sage 300 or any other ERP system is an asset
