Position Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst serves as a strategic business partner supporting the Finance and Executive Leadership teams through financial planning, analysis, forecasting, reporting, and business intelligence. This role is responsible for analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, developing forecasts, and providing actionable recommendations that support operational and financial decision-making across Orthopaedic Solutions Management and its affiliated physician practices.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with business acumen and is comfortable working independently while collaborating with leaders throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning analyses.
- Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Identify financial trends, operational opportunities, and potential risks while providing recommendations to leadership.
- Perform variance analysis and explain key drivers impacting financial performance.
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business units.
- Partner with operational leaders to evaluate financial performance, productivity, and profitability.
- Assist with strategic initiatives including business cases, service line expansion, acquisitions, capital investments, and operational improvement projects.
- Create and maintain KPI dashboards to monitor organizational performance.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, labor costs, physician productivity, and operational metrics.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by executive leadership.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing requested financial information and analyses.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities as needed.
- Recommend improvements to financial reporting processes, internal controls, and data analytics.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data while maintaining confidentiality.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.
- MBA, CPA, CMA, or CFA designation preferred.
Experience
- Five (5) or more years of progressive financial analysis experience.
