Summary
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a key finance partner to Commercial and Engineering departments within a fast-growing, private equity-backed manufacturing company. This is a high-impact role at the center of the company’s growth engine, responsible for Bookings and Revenue forecasting, commercial and product analytics, and supporting investment decisions across go-to-market and product development initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, business-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where they can influence decisions and help scale a growing business.
Responsibilities
Own the Revenue Forecast
- Lead the Bookings and Revenue forecasting process, including pipeline, conversion, shipments, and revenue recognition.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to improve forecast accuracy and visibility into growth drivers.
- Ensure alignment between revenue forecasts and operational capacity.
Drive Commercial & Customer Insights
- Analyze pipeline performance, customer trends, pricing, and product mix.
- Develop KPI dashboards and performance reporting for commercial leadership.
- Provide actionable insights to support revenue growth and efficiency.
Partner on Product & Engineering Investments
- Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to evaluate product roadmap and development investments.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Develop business cases for product and engineering initiatives, including headcount and R&D investments.
- Provide visibility into product-level performance, profitability, and investment returns.
