Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Analyst serves as key financial partner by supporting current and strategic financial planning and providing financial and business acumen to a growing organization. The Senior Financial Analyst helps operational and senior leaders make informed financial decisions, provide insights into business operations performance, and drive cost structure and allocation improvements. Working closely with operational and financial leaders, the Senior Financial Analyst will help assess the impact of financial decisions, with special emphasis on the financial outcome of grant funded programs. They will guide key financial planning and analysis processes, including the financial elements of annual federal regulatory reporting.

Your contribution to the team includes:
- Coordinate the process and contribute to preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts in conjunction with the team of financial analysts.
- Analyze financial statements, including revenue and expense, balance sheet, and cash flow statements for operating units and the organization.
- Identify financial trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement through analysis and modeling.
- Compile and analyze pre-award grant budgets and analyze budget to actual results with fund development, program stakeholders, and the grants management team.
- Communicate through written narratives, visualizations, and conversation financial results to internal stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Compile, interpret, and prepare data and analyses from a variety of data sources to present results and recommendations to senior leaders.
- Prepare ad hoc financial models incorporating a variety of data sources from disparate systems.
- Coordinate and prepare financial reporting components of annual regulatory reports to the Health Care Authority and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
