Secondment/Contract: Up to 12 months

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting, the successful candidate will play a critical role in leading internal segment reporting, cost allocation, and performance analytics across business units. This role also supports period-end and year-end close processes, delivering insightful financial analysis and commentary to senior leadership, while preparing high-quality management reporting for key stakeholders.
With a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and driving impact, this role ensures the completeness and reliability of both financial and management reporting. About the Role
- Leverage advanced analytics to deliver actionable insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Build and maintain robust financial models to support strategic initiatives and business cases.
- Prepare financial reports, analyses, and supporting information for key stakeholders, including LCBO’s business partners, internal auditors, and Provincial auditors for the year-end audit.
- Support period-end, quarterly, annual close and reporting cycles, including variance analysis and meaningful financial insights for senior management.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of internal segment reporting, ensuring alignment with internal management reporting structures.
- Enhance and maintain cost allocation and chargeback methodologies analysis across business units and support strategic decision-making.
- Design and deliver interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to enhance visibility into financial and operational performance.
- Ensure reporting is accurate, scalable, and aligned with management, external reporting, and IFRS requirements.
- Support ad hoc initiatives and operational priorities, including finance system upgrades, user acceptance testing, and process enhancements.
- Perform additional duties as required to support operations.
