Senior Financial Analyst – Fontana, CA
The Senior Financial Analyst reports directly to the Plant Controller and serves as a business partner to the Plant Executive Leadership Team. A successful Senior Financial Analyst at Allegion has a mindset focused on compliance, accuracy, and efficiency, can consistently apply policies and procedures, and enjoys learning and collaborating with others.
What You Will Do:
Work with plant leaders to drive process improvements and elimination of non-value activities.
Month End Closing Process - Including financial analysis, researching discrepancies, account reconciliations, and plant reporting
Management Reporting and Analysis - Prepare weekly and monthly management reports and use reports to drive improvements and escalation of issues. Perform cost analysis/cost-rolls, manufacturing variance analysis, including standard cost establishment.
CER (capital expenditure request) project tracking, Assist on CER Analysis and provide monthly spend details to Controller, Site Engineers and General Accounting.
Provide Forecasting and Budgeting support
Projects and Special Assignments - This will include audit support, physical inventory, and many special projects and assignments.
Compliance:
Maintain a robust and effective internal control environment to ensure accounting procedures are compliant with GAAP and FICAP
Participate in Sarbanes Oxley testing reporting, with emphasis on prevention, elimination, and timely close-out of control deficiencies
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4-6 years of hands-on experience
Experience within a manufacturing setti
