Job Summary:
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the finance function in one or more of our service areas. The role includes assisting Management with negotiating funding agreements; cost allocations among programs; preparing and monitoring of budgets; monitoring, testing, and strengthening of internal controls; preparing monthly financial statements; contractual financial reporting; liaising with internal and external auditors; analyzing current systems/processes and recommending improvements; and mentoring service area staff on financial matters.

Prepares internal/external financial reporting on the status of contracts
Coordinates the preparation and maintaining of disbursements and financial reporting for funding agreements
Interprets contract provisions and responds to inquiries regarding contractual obligations
Analyzes, problem solves, and recommends solutions to contract related issues
Assists/participates in contract negotiations with government and other funders
Provides support in the development of Agency business proposals
Assists in development of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans
Manages receipt and initiation of stakeholder concerns by resolving/diffusing issues in a timely manner
Develops effective strategies and processes to ensure appropriate allocation of funding to multiple programs
Participates in financial planning activities and annual audits
Liaises with multiple levels of internal
