We are seeking a highly analytical and business-focused Senior Financial Analyst – Operations Finance to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful business insights and partnering with operational leaders to improve financial performance within a manufacturing environment.
Working closely with the VP of Finance, Director of Finance, and operational leaders, you will support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, profitability analysis, and operational reporting while helping to strengthen the Finance function as we continue to build scalable processes and improve data quality.
This role combines financial planning and analysis with operational finance and business partnering. You will help leadership understand the financial drivers of the business, identify opportunities to improve performance, and develop analytical tools that support informed decision making across multiple manufacturing locations.
This position reports directly to the VP of Finance. Quarterly travel to our State College, Pennsylvania facility will be required to support operational partnerships, financial planning activities, and relationship development.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR/TO:
Financial Planning & Analysis
• Partner with the VP of Finance and operational leaders to support the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
• Develop financial models that support budgeting, forecasting, capital investment decisions, pricing strategies, and strategic business initiatives.
• Perform detailed variance analysis, identifying key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Support monthly forecasting activities and provide timely financial insights to leadership.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to support business planning and decision making.
Operational Finance & Business Partnering
• Partner with operational leaders to understand business performance, identify financial risks and opportunities, and provide meaningful financial insights that support informed decision making.
• Provide dedicated financial support to assigned manufacturing operations, with an initial focus on our State College, Pennsylvania facility.
• Analyze operational KPIs, productivity, labour efficiency, inventory trends, and manufacturing performance.
