Some roles require an office while others may be done remotely. This position is considered hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration. Qualified applicants must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the Sonos Boston office and are expected to work onsite a minimum of three days per week to enable effective cross-functional partnership, collaboration, and business engagement.
The Senior Financial Analyst, Operations Finance is a senior individual contributor within the Sonos Operations Finance organization, supporting a global operations ecosystem managing ~$1B in annual COGS. This role acts as a subject matter expert and strategic finance partner, driving complex financial analysis, influencing cross-functional decisions, and advancing financial processes across manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain domains.
This position is responsible for owning and evolving key components of the company’s cost structure, delivering forecasting and variance insights, and leading cross-functional initiatives that improve financial transparency, operational efficiency, and margin performance. Success requires deep expertise in cost accounting and supply chain finance, strong systems fluency, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions without direct authority.
The role reports to the Manager, Operations Finance.
What You’ll Do
Partner with Global Operations organizations to shape, model, forecast, and continuously optimize key COGS drivers - including logistics, tariffs, manufacturing costs, and other COGS accounts - translating operational complexity into actionable financial insights that influence business decisions.
Influence and guide cross-functional alignment on cost recognition methodologies by partnering closely with Accounting, and business stakeholders to evolve scalable policies and processes that ensure GAAP compliance, operational practicality, and reporting accuracy.
