Senior Marketing Analyst
Overview
The Senior Marketing Analyst will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and will work closely with other institutional leaders across the organization in the research, development, implementation, and management of recurring and ad-hoc analysis and reporting the strategic direction of goals of the organization. The Senior Marketing Analyst will also execute email and text nurture strategies across multiple marketing automation platforms with the goal of increasing high-quality communication with students and prospects. The Senior Marketing Analyst will take on digital marketing responsibilities to improve performance and drive strategic direction of digital channels.
The primary goal of the position is to support the marketing team in gauging the effectiveness of our marketing efforts in furthering the companyβs brand awareness, understanding the effectiveness of marketing channels, and providing recommendations on changing the marketing mix. The position will also analyze prospect and competitor data to help identify areas of opportunity.
- Support institutional objectives in making strategic data-related decisions by analyzing, managing, and reporting data.
- Design and execute complex analytics projects that involve data collection and analysis
- Conduct ongoing, comprehensive reporting including current trends, projections.
- Partners with technical and non-technical resources across the institution to leverage their support and integrate efforts to achieve institutional objectives
- Use analytical tools and systems for delivering data, synthesizing analysis, and developing key marketing and customer insights to meet institutional objectives.
- Create and deliver reporting, on an ongoing basis, that analyze key metrics to discover changes necessary to increase overall success of affiliate and digital marketing channels
- Manage monthly budgets, pacing and forecasting of affiliate marketing partners.
- Drive strategy for affiliate and digital marketing efforts.
- Expand nurture across the entire funnel.
- Use KPIβs, A/B testing, and segmentation to improve nurture performance
Β Qualifications
- A Bachelorβs degree in business, mathematics, engineering, or similar analytical area required.
- A Masterβs degree in business, mathematics, or engineering similar analytical area a plus
- Minimum 3-4 yearsβ experience in a digital marketing or analytics
- Well-developed knowledge and experience with Google Analytics (advanced segments, filtering, customized reports)
- Experience in crafting marketing messages (value propositions, features/benefits)
- Strong computer and database management skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel as well as the ability to quickly grasp internal information systems.
- Strong statistical background and proven analytical skills required
- Knowledge of statistical programming languages a plus.
- Knowledge of AdWords, paid search, SEM, SEO, social media marketing, OTT-CTV, and market research required
- Strong communication skills β both verbal and written β and the ability to use data-driven analysis to support recommendations.
- Strong strategic marketing and analytics background and a proven track record of translating insights into executable plans.Β
