What You'll Do
As a Senior Oil and Gas Data Specialist, you will be responsible for two or more Deep Sector Oil & Gas data products. Your primary focus will be U.S. interstate natural gas pipeline nominations, major corridor flows, and daily natural gas prices. Additional duties may be adjusted based on user feedback and business requirements. This position requires data management experience with a solid foundation in data modeling, programmatic data acquisition and processing, and designing robust data pipelines. Oil & Gas data specialists are also expected to stay up to date with sector developments, providing knowledgeable support to product end users by keeping up with industry news, market dynamics, and key industry players and regulatory bodies.
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience working with large databases, building data pipelines, and automating workflows.
- Advanced proficiency with Python and SQL (certifications preferred).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
