ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Tableau & Dashboard Data Analyst you will use analytic tools, identify, design, recommend, and execute solutions to deliver actionable information to customers. Provide follow-up consultation on solutions as needed, support and contribute to client and business analytics projects by supporting consulting teams and develop strategies. You will use modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop and deploy tools, including Tableau dashboards, infographics, reports, and models, to inform and support decision-making.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
Support client teams with a combination of raw data analysis and aggregation to support external reporting.
Serve as an internal technical and analytic consultant to define business questions and transform data into meaningful and actionable information for a variety of customer segments
Display initiative in research beyond the specific assignment.
Pursue expansion of current knowledge and skills
Meaningfully contribute to the area’s workload, considering volume and complexity
Loads, processes, and analyzes health care enrollment and claims / encounter data to support a variety of health care consulting projects.
Develops a good understanding of our business model, objectives, issues, and challenges by interacting and collaborating with clients and client teams.
Use database tools like SAS or SQL, to collect and analyze new data sets and support Tableau reporting.
Develop and deploy Tableau dashboards that convey data supported population and health care insights.
The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of Tableau experience, strongly preferred 2 years of data analysis experience, strongly preferredIntermediate proficiency in SAS and/or SQL plus Excel spreadsheets and Tableau
Broad understanding of health insurance terms and concepts
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with others
