Job Description: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data Specialist to join their Marketing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and usability of Salesforce data, while owning hands-on execution of email marketing campaigns, automations, and reporting. This is a builder role, not a general email marketer role — the ideal candidate has personally built and scripted automations in Automation Studio, not just executed pre-built sends or workflows, and can speak in depth about the logic, data flow, and technical decisions behind what they've built. This person will support a senior marketing lead who currently owns most email sends and reporting, with the goal of eventually taking independent ownership of the work.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Manage and segment email lists/data to ensure accurate targeting and personalization
- Create dynamic content and personalization within email templates
- Maintain and update subscription centers via Marketing Cloud pages
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data across Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and related platforms Audit, clean, and harmonize data to eliminate duplicates, outdated records, and inaccuracies
- Create, customize, and manage reports and dashboards in Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud Analyze email performance data (opens, clicks, engagement) using Excel — pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and cross-referencing across multiple sheets
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests from marketing stakeholders
- Work closely with a small marketing team (4-5 people) to understand data needs and campaign goals
- Communicate proactively — flag issues, provide status updates, and manage competing priorities across stakeholders
Minimum Requirements:
- 4-7 years of experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Strong, hands-on Automation Studio experience — must have personally built automations, not
