ROLE:- TBM
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support Technology Business Management (TBM) initiatives across IT organizations.
Configure, administer, and optimize the Apptio platform for cost transparency, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Collaborate with business, finance, and technology stakeholders to establish TBM best practices.
Develop and maintain TBM taxonomies, cost models, allocations, and service mapping.
Analyze IT financial and operational data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Create executive dashboards, reports, and presentations for technology leadership.
Support annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and chargeback/showback processes.
Drive process improvements and adoption of TBM methodologies across the organization.
Facilitate stakeholder discussions and communicate complex financial and technology concepts clearly.
Required Skills
Strong experience in
Technology Business Management (TBM) .
Hands on expertise with
Apptio
(Cost Transparency, Planning, Billing, or related modules).
Experience implementing and supporting mature TBM practices.
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into TBM and Apptio solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with large enterprise IT organizations.
Knowledge of IT financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation methodologies.
Familiarity with cloud cost management and FinOps practices.
Experience presenting findings to senior leadership.
Experience
Typically 8+ years of IT/Technology Financial Management experience.
4+ years of relevant TBM and Apptio experience.
Nice to Have
TBM Council certifications.
Apptio certifications.
Experience in transportation, logistics, or enterprise operations environments.
