About the Position
P17 Solutions is seeking a Computer Scientist / Data Analyst to provide technical and operational support for the collection, extraction, analysis, validation, and distribution of TFDM system data in support of Terminal Second Level Engineering (TSLE) activities. The position serves as a critical liaison between operational sites, engineering teams, software developers, and system maintainers to ensure accurate and timely acquisition of data required for incident investigation, problem reporting, system integration, deployment, and operational sustainment. Responsibilities include collection of system logs, application traces, database extracts, configuration files, and operational artifacts associated with software defects, anomaly reports, engineering requests, and deployment activities
Job Requirements
Data Collection and Extraction
- Collect operational and technical data from TFDM operational sites, laboratories, and support environments.
- Retrieve Unix/Linux system logs, application logs, message traces, database records, configuration files, and diagnostic artifacts.
- Support data collection activities associated with AIMS tickets, problem reports, anomaly reports, and engineering investigations.
- Coordinate directly with FAA personnel, site technicians, and system administrators to obtain required data within established response timelines.
