Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary Range: $120,000–$135,000 per year
Must-Have Skills:
- Business Analysis / Product Analysis experience in banking, payments, fintech, or financial services.
- Knowledge of digital assets, stable coins, blockchain/DLT, or tokenized deposits.
- Understanding of end-to-end payment processing, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
- Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and technology teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Payment processing, payment rails, real-time payments, and cross-border payments.
- ISO 20022, SWIFT, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Treasury, liquidity management, and reconciliation.
- Stablecoin lifecycle, tokenized deposits, wallets, and digital asset custody.
- Blockchain/DLT platforms and smart-contract-based transaction flows.
- Digital asset custody platforms such as Taurus.
- Integration of traditional banking systems with digital-asset infrastructure.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Work with business and technology teams to define use cases for stablecoins, tokenized deposits, digital assets, and blockchain/DLT solutions.
- Analyze payment and settlement lifecycles, including transaction initiation, authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception management.
- Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and solution requirements.
- Collaborate with architects and developers on integrations between digital-asset platforms and existing banking/payment systems.
- Facilitate workshops with product, business, technology, risk, and compliance stakeholders.
- Define operational controls, reporting, reconciliation, and exception-handling requirements.
- Consider regulatory, AML/KYC, privacy, security, and audit requirements.
- Support POCs, business cases, solution assessments, testing, and production readiness.
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout development, testing, and implementation.
