Join the University of Iowa as a Senior Financial Analyst, where you will perform a broad range of accounting and financial analysis responsibilities to assure effective and compliant organizational/department/unit operations. Provide accurate and timely accounting information that is used to develop reports, conduct financial analysis and planning and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations. This position is not eligible for University sponsorship for employment authorization.
Duties to Include:
- Assist with monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports
- Prepare and analyze the annual and ad-hoc bond segment financial statements. Play a lead role in annual bond audit
- Assist in the year-end closing of accounts and preparation of consolidated University of Iowa audited financial report.
- Develop financial reports from lead sheets and other sources to complete audit schedules, financial report footnotes and management discussion and analysis.
- Conduct variance analysis of financial information.
Location: 100% Remote within Iowa
Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm, This position will be fully remote, but may be required to come to campus for meetings, training, etc.
