DescriptionJob Overview
The Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer will create reporting solutions that support key business processes by leveraging defined development policies, and standards. The individual in this position leverages their intermediate knowledge of data warehousing techniques and reporting to perform tasks, contribute in code reviews, process definition, requirement definition, and provide mentorship to team members.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop reporting solutions, ETL processes, and database structures with a focus on maturing the organization's data and analytics capabilities.
- Ensure completed work follows department policies, procedures and coding standards.
- Actively participate in various agile development meetings, design sessions and presentations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the database and reporting architecture.
- Create and maintain documentation for solutions.
- Contribute in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members.
- Maintain a strong knowledge and understanding of Solarity’s processes and terminology.
- Work with Service Desk to respond to customer requests and issues reported in production.
- Mentor and direct team members in assigned tasks.
- Comply with Solarity’s policies, procedures and guidelines.
