DescriptionThis position is central to the missionaries' role to 'Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.' Training analysts are individual contributors. This role supports missionary training efforts by providing operational insights to increase efficiency and effectiveness, solving complicated problems using technology, partnering with Research and Evaluation in providing analysis and insights that help missionary training efforts scale and support the strategic goals of the Missionary Department.
ResponsibilitiesReports to the Manager of Analytics and Reporting in the Missionary Department.
Provides transparency, insights, and recommendations to inform operational decision-making and planning.
Evaluates onboarding experience and tools to effectively train leaders, tutors, mentors, teachers, and training coordinators on necessary knowledge and skills.
Partners with MTC Research and Evaluation on key outcome efforts.
Using analytics tools (R, Python, SQL), analyzes missionary training data from programs in PowerApps to determine use and effectiveness of training and provide visualizations of findings in Tableau.
