THE ROLEMutual of Omaha Mortgage is looking for a Senior BI Engineer to build governed data models and reporting across loan, CRM, and marketing data. You'll own gold-layer modeling in a dbt medallion architecture and executive reporting in Sigma and Power BI. You'll also define the KPIs that drive lending and marketing decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain dimensional data models (Kimball star schema) across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers using dbt on Databricks.
- Integrate and reconcile data from loan origination systems, Salesforce CRM, servicing feeds, and third-party vendors, including cross-system entity resolution.
- Build executive and operational dashboards in Sigma and Power BI covering pipeline, lead-to-loan conversion, funded volume, channel attribution, and campaign ROI.
- Define and document governed KPIs in a semantic layer for consistent metrics across tools.
- Own data quality through profiling, automated testing, volume and null-rate monitoring, and root-cause analysis of pipe
